Our Kindness Programs
OUR KINDNESS PROGRAMS:
Driving Kindness Home
Cars for Kindness is a 100% charitable organization dedicated to bringing the love. We’ve created many programs that offer help to those in financial, emotional or social need:
A Helping Hand Fund
Cars for Kindness has established an emergency fund that assists members of the community who need help with a month of rent, a car payment, utility bills and food or clothing for their family. By donating your car to Cars for Kindess, you will insure that those in need will not have to go without
Meals for the Elderly and Infirm
At the end of each week, we deliver fresh soup to the elderly. Your car donation will help us expand our kitchen facility so that we can provide a meals on wheels service for the homebound and on-site meals for those who can commute.
Smile On Seniors: Hospital and Nursing Home Visitations
By donating your car to Cars for Kindness, you’ll assist us in our ongoing visitation program to local hospitals and retirement homes, where we bring cheer and moral support to those who need it most.
Summer Camp Scholarships
Summer is a wonderful time for children to enjoy warm weather, fresh air and fun-filled days of camp. Unfortunately, not all parents have room for camp tuition in their budgets. We provide scholarships to day camp in Cape Cod for children who would otherwise be unable to attend. The choice to donate your car can give children six weeks of fun and excitement while their parents enjoy a well-deserved break.
Friendship Circle
The Friendship Circle’s unique approach brings together teenage volunteers and children with special needs for hours of fun and friendship. These shared experiences empower children with special needs, while enriching the lives of everyone involved.
Children with special needs bloom and gain the confidence they need to make the most their abilities and talents. Teenage volunteers learn the priceless value of giving, the curative power of friendship, and the vital importance of integrating children with special needs into our communities.
